Graduate School Admissions Checklist

MASTERS' PROGRAMS

The list below will be helpful for all U.S. Masters' level graduate students, and those International graduate students who have a TOEFL score of 550 or higher, to complete their application. These documents should be sent to:

  1. Completed Graduate Application form
  2. Non-refundable application fee (Amount on Application for Admission)
  3. Official academic transcripts
  4. Official academic diplomas (International Students only)
  5. Completed Affidavit of Support (International Students Only)
  6. One of the following TOEFL score reports: (1) paper test score of 550, (2) computer-based test score of 213, or (3) Internet test score of 60. TOEFL is not needed for international students if their degree is from a U.S. university.
  7. Weighted score of either the undergraduate GPA X 200 + Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) score = minimum total of 1100, or the Undergraduate GPA (last 60+ hrs) X 200 + GMAT = 1150 or more.

Admission for International students will not be considered without specific documentation of yearly funds available to cover each year of study at the University. Contact the Louisiana Tech University Office of Graduate Admissions (318.257.2924) for current cost estimates.

All fees are subject to change without notice. I-20's for International students will be issued to accepted students only. International Student Advisor: Dan Erickson (318) 257-4321.

Your application for admission will be processed only when all of the required credentials are on file. You will be notified of the decision by letter.

All application materials should be sent by the following dates:

  • Quarters

  • For Winter Quarter Enrollment
  • For Spring Quarter Enrollment
  • For Summer Quarter Enrollment

DOCTORAL (DBA) APPLICATION DEADLINES (DBA)
Applicants should have all of their materials submitted by February 1 to be admitted for the following fall. Applicants are only admitted in the fall quarter.
