As an academic unit of Louisiana Tech University, The College of Business is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) to award baccalaureate, master's, and doctoral degrees.

Additionally, all degree programs offered by the College of Business are accredited by The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International). The AACSB holds members to an approved set of standards that are relevant and applicable to all business programs globally, and which support and encourage excellence in management education worldwide. Accreditation is a process of voluntary, non-governmental review of educational institutions and programs. AACSB International accreditation represents the highest standard of achievement for business schools, worldwide. By earning this accreditation, the College of Business confirms its commitment to quality and continuous improvement through a rigorous and comprehensive peer review process. AACSB International accreditation is the hallmark of excellence in management education. By gaining the AACSB International accreditation, the College of Business assures that it will:

Also, all programs offered by the School of Accountancy are separately accredited by the AACSB.
