Why the Louisiana Tech Executive MBA?
Ours is an executive education program designed specifically for executives and managers and taught solely to executives and managers.
You will not take classes with students with little managerial experience — ours is not a regular evening MBA program.
Networking and executive interaction is the focal point for all classes.
High quality instruction — 100% of the EMBA faculty have doctorates and are active in business research.
No reason to give up your weekday evenings — classes are held every other weekend.
GMAT may not be required for admission.
Business or non-business undergraduate degrees admitted — intensive foundation instruction is provided prior to each core MBA course so there are no prerequisites.
Great value — our program is competitively priced for a true EMBA program.
10 course/30 credit hour program.
The College of Business is accredited by AACSB International and is the only university in the state to have accreditation at all levels, including accounting.
You will earn your degree from a nationally recognized university.
All EMBA courses are taught from the executive's perspective. In addition, the EMBA program has two focus courses that provide unique but essential managerial skills: (1) Critical Thinking and (2) Leadership. Critical Thinking is a course in which you will learn advanced problem-solving skills as a manager. Leadership focuses on developing your skills as a leader in your organization and complements your ability to make critical decisions.
The Louisiana Tech University EMBA program is taught in two locations: Shreveport and Monroe. Applications are currently being accepted for the Shreveport class for Winter Quarter 2016.
