JOB SUMMARY:
Information Technology Assistant
PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Upgrade workstations with new machines, including helping employees find files stored locally instead of on the server.
Employee support via help-desk task for printer and software problems
Perform IT audit functions for items such as software loaded and virus definitions
Server backup tape rotation
File transmission between vendors
Other bank tasks as needed
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Computer literate; excellent PC skills including file management via “My Computer” or “Windows Explorer”, word processing/spreadsheet such as Microsoft Office Excel and Word, print driver installation
PREFERRED JOB SKILLS:
Server OS experience including working with Novell and Microsoft
Software installation including OS
Network experience including cabling, switches, routers and firewalls
Project management experience
