The Shreveport Airport Authority has been involved with LA Tech, Northwestern, and East Texas Baptist University internship programs and would like to extend the opportunity to Louisiana Tech University students. We are able to accommodate students Monday through Friday year round with morning or afternoon internships.

A non paid internship with the Shreveport Airport Authority's Marketing Department will provided a variety of experiences with numerous projects our staff is involved in on a daily basis. Some of the activities an intern might experience are:

•  Assistance in compiling a market data base.

•  Assistance in maintaining the airport's web site.

•  Assistance in reports related to air fares, fuel price surveys and enplanements.

•  Assistance in preparing presentations.

•  Assistance in air service development efforts.

•  Assistance with special projects that may arise.

•  Assistance in preparing press releases.

•  Assistance in airport economic development proposals.

•  Assistance in preparation of the Airport's newsletter.

•  Assistance with providing school tours to educate children.

•  Assistance with special events. Including but not limited to trade shows, ribbon ceremonies.

•  Assistance with scheduling and attending tenant meetings.

•  Assistance in marketing efforts related to airport properties.
