Dut is a member of the KPMG LLP Board of Directors and Chairman of the Audit Finance and Operations Committee of the firm’s Board.  In addition, Dut is the Global Lead Partner for AT&T and CenturyLink and is a Tax partner based in the Shreveport office.  Dut was elected to the Board in 2013.  Dut joined KPMG in 1979 in audit, transferred to tax in 1981 and became a partner in 1988. 

He has more than 36 years experience providing tax compliance, planning, and consulting services to clients in numerous industries.  Dut was appointed managing partner of the Shreveport office in 1999.  Dut is the National Tax Leader for Communications companies as well as the lead partner on several publicly traded companies in the communications and other industries.  He has served multiple clients in the oil and gas, financial institutions, timber and healthcare industries.  Also, Dut began and led the Assurance Based Advisory Services (ABAS) practice in the southwest when the firm was structured by Line of Business. He was a member of the firm’s Board Governance Task Force which studied the governance of the firm and made recommendations to the Board on ways to enhance the firm’s governance.  The proposed changes were approved by the partners. In addition, Dut was the past National Tax Industry leader and a member of the Tax and Industry Leadership teams.
In Dut’s many leadership roles, he has mentored and worked with numerous audit, tax and advisory partners, managers and staff and assisted and coached them in furthering their careers.
He is a member of the Louisiana Tech University College of Business Advisory Board and past president of the LA Tech Accounting Advisory Board as well as a member of the LSUS Foundation.  Dut has been a guest lecture/teacher at college’s including Louisiana Tech University.  He has attended and participated in executive education programs at the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania and the International Institute for Management Development Business School in Lausanne, Switzerland.
He is the past president and Chairman of Loyola College Prep Board of Trustees, past treasurer and executive member of Boy Scouts (NORWELA council), and member of the Committee of 100 as well having served on several other not for profit boards.
Dut holds a CPA license in the states of Louisiana and Texas and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants as well as the Louisiana Society of Certified Public Accountants.
He graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Louisiana Tech in May 1979.

Dut has been married to Kathy LeBlanc for 35 years and they have two married children, Daniel LeBlanc and wife Shannon and Lauren LeBlanc Jefferies and husband Steven as well as two grandchildren Eloise and Oliver LeBlanc.
