Jack T. Taylor is Vice Chair, Assurance, for KPMG LLP’s Americas practice. He is based in New York City.
A member of the firm’s Management Committee, Mr. Taylor is responsible for operations, operating results, risk management, assurance services development, and client service delivery. Additionally, he serves as the relationship partner for several Fortune 500 companies.
During his 30-year career with KPMG, Mr. Taylor has held leadership positions at the local, area, and national levels. He joined the firm in Shreveport upon his graduation from Louisiana Tech University, and was named partner in charge of that office in 1987. He subsequently served as partner in charge of the firm’s Houston audit practice; partner in charge of the Southwest Area Manufacturing, Retail, and Distribution practice; national industry director of the Energy, Power, and Natural Resources practice; managing partner of the Houston and Dallas offices; and partner in charge of the Southwest Area Assurance practice.
As a client service partner, Mr. Taylor served major corporations in a wide range of industries, including the J.C. Penney Company, EDS, Emerson Electric, AIM Mutual Funds, Anadarko Petroleum Company, Brinker International, Century Tel, and Cemex.
In addition to fulfilling his responsibilities to his clients and the firm, Mr. Taylor has served on the Boards of numerous civic, business and charitable organizations over his career. He currently serves on the Louisiana Tech University College of Business Executive Cabinet, the CSIS Dallas Roundtable, and the Texas Business Hall of Fame.
