The new, 20,000-square-foot state-of-the-art facility will be connected to the existing building by a glass atrium that encourages student interaction and showcases signature classrooms such as a financial trading room. The facility will house a large lecture hall, classrooms and collaborative/active learning spaces that are flexible, with furniture that can be reconfigured to support various styles of instruction, while retaining full connectivity by each student with integrated technology. These particular types of classrooms develop and enhance critical thinking, writing, problem-solving and presentation skills. Student break out rooms support project development and peer-to-peer instruction among small groups of students.
